Statuses are special headers that appear over a player's heads in lobbies. They were introduced on May 6, 2019, alongside the Battle Pass.[1] Almost all statuses are available to players with the MVP++ rank, though some can be unlocked through events, Battle Pass, or special roles. The Status menu can be accessed through the Profile menu in the lobby hotbar, and can be equipped at any time in lobbies.

The Status menu is split into 18 different categories with their own category, ranging from general statuses to individual game statues. Most statuses are unlocked and available for use with the MVP++ rank, only excluding statuses in the General Stat category.

Special Statuses
A special status menu exists for those with special statuses, available for language proofreaders, members of the Hypixel Player Council, and staff of Hypixel Karaoke. This menu is not available to those without special roles, though it could be viewed during the release of statuses. There is also the Hypixel Wiki Team status, given to those who are helping to create the Official Hypixel Wikipedia.
