"Test your reflexes in this fast paced game, and be the first to 25 points to win! Use your trusty Railgun and blast your fireworks at your enemies to kill them. Gain coins and upgrade your trigger to reduce your trigger cooldown. Change how your railgun looks with different cases, and even change the color and size of your firework! Hats and different armor are also available to you. Stand out, and let them know who the best is!"
Quakecraft Lobby (removed from 19 April 2017)
Quakecraft (or just Quake) is a fast-paced shooter game in the Classic Games where players use railguns to kill their opponents. It is the oldest game on the network alongside Bow Spleef, being released with the Hypixel Network's grand opening on April 13, 2013.[1] It was moved to the Classic Games with the lobby's release on April 19, 2017.[2]
Gameplay
Players are spread out across a map with many corridors, turns and barriers. Each player is given railgun which has the appearance, effects, and stats chosen in the § Shop. Right-clicking the railgun will shoot a beam in front of them, killing any other player directly in the line of fire. By default, firing has a 1 second cooldown which can be modified in the Shop. Left-clicking the railgun will activate the dash ability, flinging the player forward in the direction they are looking. By default, dashing has a 2 second cooldown which can be modified in the Shop.
The railgun's beam is stopped when it hits a block but not players meaning multiple people can be killed with one shot. Doing so will display "DOUBLE KILL" or "TRIPLE KILL" in chat to all players.
Consecutive kills without dying increases the player's killstreak. Having a high killstreak does not grant any special abilities or advantages, but chat messages acknowledging the high streak are displayed every 5–10 kills.[Confirm?] If the player with the killstreak is killed, they are "shutdown" and their killstreak is reset.

Railguns are made up of different combinations of muzzles, barrels, cases, lasers, and sometimes triggers. Right clicking with your railgun will shoot a laser, while left clicking will causes you to perform an air dash. Depending on your reload speed, there is a slight cooldown between shooting a laser. Air dashing also has a set delay which can be upgraded up to four times. Certain railguns change the wording in chat when you kill someone. For example, if you shoot someone with the Bling Bling Thing it will say that you bazinga'd someone instead of gibbed. At the end of the game, if you win, your gun name will be displayed in chat.

Tips & Tricks
Upgrades
Your trigger changes the game! While upgrading the trigger can be pricey and have little change on the time of the reload, the 0.9 seconds you can shave off of your reload time will change the game for you, in your favor.
Practice
Practice is extremely important! Quake is not as much of a strategy based game as it is a skill based game. To improve and perfect on your skill, you will need lots of practice! Don't worry if you loose lots of games. The more you play, the better of a player you will become. This will take time and patience! Giving yourself a goal to reach is always a great way to keep you motivated. You can check your current stats in the Classic Games Lobbies or on a third party website such as plancke.io.
Aim
Your aim is an important part of being the first to 25. When shooting a player, predict where they are going to move. For example, if someone is falling, aim where they will be landing. Pay attention to player names, if you see one through a wall around a corner, if they are close enough, you can shoot them from around the corner. Don't forget to incorporate your own movements into your aim.
Trivia
- Oct 3, 2015 update makes all items accessible with coins.
- There were two official Hypixel Quakecraft tournaments on January 31, 2020 & December 17, 2021.
- Wins were not tracked until the October 10, 2013 update.
- The 0.85s trigger was released on February 7th, 2017 but it took until September 1st, 2017 for the first 10 players to unlock it due to its high stat requirements.
- All preset railguns required a specific trigger until a minor update in August 12, 2025, which removed this requirement from most guns.
- Quakecraft is directly inspired by the classic arena shooter Quake.
