Tournament Tokens were an exclusive currency that could be used to purchase special kits in games on the Hypixel Network. They were obtained by competing in official Tournaments that were sometimes hosted for a game and single time period. Actions performed in games would reward Tournament Tokens, though there was a limit to how many tokens could be earned each tournament. These tokens could be used to purchase unique and powerful kits in games such as The Walls.
No tournaments were held past the second tournament for Mega Walls, and the tokens were no longer obtainable. Game updates later made the token-exclusive kits purchasable with coins, and Tournament Tokens were no longer obtainable. With the reboot of tournaments in 2018, a new currency was introduced called Tributes, which functioned similarly to Tournament Tokens but had a wider and more unique variety of purchasable perks and cosmetics.
